National Cargo Bureau may issue Certificates of Cleanliness for bulk products other than grain.
Based on the intended cargoes inherent properties, shippers and receivers requirements, and end-use of the commodity, the National Cargo Bureau Surveyor inspects each cargo space for:
Previous cargo residues and transferable stains.
Loose rust and paint scale
Any other contaminants
Infestation
Odors
Moisture or leakage
After confirming that the cargo spaces are free of deficiencies, a Certificate of Cleanliness will be issued.
